Program like the pros, research like the astronauts! NEPO Missions takes you on a real Mars mission. Program a simulated Mars rover »Rosa« based on the original ESA (European Space Agency) rover »Rosalind Franklin« and become a space explorer.
Welcome to the mission »Exploration Mars«! Together with a team of experts you sent the rover Rosa to Mars. Rosa has landed safely, and now its your job to program and send her on an exploration tour. In 17 exciting levels, youll set out to find traces of water and biological life on Mars.
Youve never programmed before? Dont worry! Thanks to a visual programming language and lots of support from your space buddy Dalia and the smart robot lady Roberta, youll get started in no time. Step by step, Rosa and you explore the »red planet«. In the process, youll learn not only how to program Rosas movements, but also how to use sensors to explore the planet. But watch out! A dust storm is building up on Mars and threatens to ruin the mission! Will you and Rosa be able to complete all the tasks in time to make space history?NEPO Missions - get started now!

NEPO Missions was developed by the Fraunhofer educational initiative »Roberta® - Learning with Robots« in collaboration with »Gentle Troll Entertainment« and with support from the Google.org Impact Challenge. The app is based on the open-source programming platform »Open Roberta Lab«, which is developed by Fraunhofer IAIS in Sankt Augustin (Bonn) and enthuses millions of people worldwide for programming.
